Toddy
Toddy is a traditional British hot drink. Usually whiskey is used when making it, but rum is also an excellent substitute. It is essential, however, that Toddy is served hot.

Ingredients -  1/8 litre (4 fl oz/½ cup) hot black tea
 2 sugar cubes
 1 piece of cinnamon
 2 cloves
 1 piece of lemon rind
 Jamaica rum/whiskey
Method - Prepare the tea by brewing in hot water. Add the spices while the tea is brewing. Drop sugar cubes into a warmed mug and fill it about 2/3 full of tea; top up with rum or whiskey and drop in a piece of lemon rind. Serve immediately.
